Cached Credentials in Windows Credential Manager
Here are instructions on how to clear the cached credentials in Windows.
1. Go to the search bar in the bottom left corner of your screen. Then search for Credential Manager.
2.Click Credential Manager and it should take you into this screen. Towards the top you will see two different Credential types. Web Credentials and Windows Credentials. Click on Windows Credentials. These are the Credentials that Windows will cache for you. This includes Outlook email and Teams. You can delete all of these in here.
3. To delete the Credentials out you will have to click on the arrow under the Generic Credential heading. See the picture below for the example. I am using the teams cached credentials. After you expand it should look like the picture below. Then you will click on "Remove" that the other arrow is pointing to. Keep doing that for all the cached credentials.
4. After you have removed all the credentials in here you are safe to hit the X in the top right to close the Window.
5. Lastly you may need to close out of teams and outlook and reopen them.
